Mathematical Statistics and Learning
1-4 June, 2021 : Barcelona
The meeting aims to bring together leading experts from diverse areas of mathematical statistics and machine learning who are interested in the mathematical foundations of our fields. The common theme of the meeting is modelling and statistical analysis of data from large complex systems, which leads to high-dimensional and structured problems.

Cancellation policy: Registrations may be cancelled upon written notification sent to the local organisers, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive a confirmation of cancellation by way of reply. Cancellations received before or on 1 April 2021 will be fully refunded, less a €10 cancellation fee. For cancellations received after 1 April 2021 and before or on 1 May 2021, 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded, less a €10 cancellation fee. Any cancellations received after 1 May 2021 will be non-refundable. All refunds will be processed post conference.
Call for posters
We invite all poster contributions. Simply let us know when you register that you wanted to present a poster.
The poster session is on Wednesday together with the conference banquet.
The meeting will take place in the Ciutadella Campus of UPF (room 40.154), which is less than 10 minutes walk from Barceloneta beach and from the picturesque El Born neighbourhood. Practical information about getting to the university can be found here.
